The following were tested in Ubuntu 14.04 and Ubuntu 16.04 Desktop LTS,
some dependencies can be different in other distros
- Open terminal
- sudo apt-add-repository ppa:groestlcoin/groestlcoin
- Provide your user password to continue
- Press enter
- sudo apt-get update
- sudo apt-get install groestlcoin-qt
- Optional: sudo apt-get install groestlcoind groestlcoin-tx groestlcoin-wallet groestlcoin-util
To start Groestlcoin Core GUI, click the Ubuntu swirl icon to open the Dash, type "groestlcoin", and click the Groestlcoin icon
