I'm mining with an NVIDIA GTX 970 and i'm getting approximately 17-19mhs.. but i'm only mining about 1grs / day.. i'm running a suprnova mining pool... am I doing something wrong?

No, this post is almost 6 months old so mining difficulty increased immensely.

Hi,

I've been mining real fine with my 1080ti for a month and I've decided to connect my 1060 6gb to the rig. I start up ccminer, it runs for a minute or so then my entire pc crashes. The watt usage according to ccminer is a total of around 400 watt and I have 2x 750 watt power supplies. My drivers are also up-to-date. Any ideas what is wrong?

Never mind, figured out the culprit. My anti virus keeps deleting the .exe file so now the miner is running.

Now my next question is, I have a Nvidia gigabyte 1080ti, what would be the optimal undervolt, overclock, etc settings for this card? I'm currently getting around 58-61mh as is with it mining 100 dollars per month as per the calculator. Kinda slow for me as that is a ROI of 10 months :S

While trying to resolve this query I came across https://www.zpool.ca/bench?algo=groestl&chip=0 can someone please explain the settings? Referring to the Vendor ID, the Arch and the Freq, and by Freq how do I adjust my card's settings to match it on Afterburner?

I am from South Africa so I'll be converting Rands to crypto
Buy btc
Purchase grs from bittrex.

One more question, I have mined some GRS and placed it into the groestlcoin core wallet, how do I convert it from there to bitcoin in my Luno wallet? Through Bittrex I assume?

Can you post the output of the dir command?

I'll check it out when I get back home in 6 hours and report back here.

I'm super late on this, but where do I input the dir command? Just normally into cmd? If I do dir desktop I get:
Volume in drive C has no label.
Volume Serial Number is 943E-3899

Alright, it is as simple as it sounds. Can I convert from GRS to USD/Rand or must I convert it back to btc first then cash out?

Hi,

I've downloaded CCMiner 2.2.2, updated the .bat file as per the Mining Pool Hub FAQ but I get the following error:

C:\Users\Marcell\Desktop\Miner\ccminer-x86-2.2.2-cuda9>ccminer -r 0 -a groestl -o stratum+tcp://hub.miningpoolhub.com:12004 -u Marcell.Marcell1 -p x
'ccminer' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

In version 2.2.2 I don't see a .exe file, maybe that is the problem? The ccminer is just a .conf file.

I'm using Nvidia cards.

Hi all,

First time crypto trader here. I've been checking out the massive booms in profits, but never dipped my toe in and want to start now. I've checked guides on how to get started but I'm confused and hope to get it cleared up here.

So I require a wallet right? I'm thinking of using Luno.
I then required an exchange? I'm thinking of Bittrex.

Is that pretty much it? I deposit the cash into Luno and then how do I trade it on Bittrex? Also, does Groestl offer an exchange for crypto to cash or how would I go about doing that?

Thanks!
